ABOUT THE ROLE

Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator, London

CREATE AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER OF YOUR PAGE TURNING STORY AS PART OF OUR HR TEAM

This exciting new role will see you joining Glendola Leisure’s HR Team to coordinate the recruitment process from advert to through to day one of employment.  Based in London you will take responsibility for the careers site, job board advertising, the candidate sifts and booking online meetings through Teams with the interviewing teams.  Once they have met the interviewing teams you will feedback the outcome to candidates and arrange for their day one start date with the venues. You’ll also contribute to promoting the employer brand through social media and at recruitment open days with the HR Team.  And as you progress and gain a greater understanding of the job boards advertising market you’ll research and make recommendations to the HR Team on how to stay abreast of changes.

Working across four cities you will be expected to travel to Scotland to meet with General Managers in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast on a quarterly basis.  With an aim to maintain relationships, get valuable feedback on current recruitment practices and discuss any changes in the local market that may affect recruitment.  It will also ensure that you remain engaged with the businesses their needs.   

What is Essential:

  • Recruitment is fast paced to reach the best candidates, so disciplined time management is essential.
  • You will represent the company and our employee brand and so good communication skills, verbal & written are essential.
  • You will need to be confident and engaging when speaking on the phone and on video calls, with an ability to provide great customer service to our candidates.
  • You will need to have an eye for detail to ensure accurate keyboard and data entry.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, managing expectations and challenging them where necessary.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Software.
  • Experienced user of social media platforms, with an ability to create engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to follow GDPR processes.
  • Collaborative team player able to work cooperatively within a team and on own initiative.  Proactive and self-driven to learn and achieve goals.
  • Ability to build networks and relationships, both internal and external.

Where we can be flexible:

  • Understanding of HR processes, policies, and procedures
  • HR and Recruitment experience.
  • Experienced used of Microsoft Teams if you can demonstrate a good knowledge of other software and an ability to adapt easily to new software systems.
