Gordon St Coffee
My first experience of Glendola was when they bought over the company I was working for at the time. That was over six years ago now and I haven’t looked back since!
I started working in Frankenstein's when I was 19 and at college. Glendola bought the unit three years later and turned it into Hortons Bar & Kitchen where I was a supervisor. I was a part of Hortons for three years before moving to Australia. I lived and worked in Adelaide, Australia for one year. I then came back home and got a job at Gordon St Coffee where I have worked my up from Barista to Supervisor to Assistant Manager.
Make coffee in the hundreds! We sell roughly 4000 coffees a week so a huge part of my job is making sure every one goes out looking and tasting great! I also keep up to date with our social media accounts, check emails, and do orders!
It’s a super fast paced job! And we have a lot of really lovely and loyal regulars.
Getting Assistant Manager was a pretty great achievement for me!
Hard work and a good work ethic. You really get what you give out.
There are great opportunities to learn and grow in Glendola, there is literally a different training course going on within the company every other week!
It’s nice! It’s a lot more personable than other places I have worked.
Glendola is a pretty big company but it still manages to make everyone feel like they are appreciated.
